I’m A Little Lion Called Parsley!

He’s finally made it to King Of the Jungle! Doesn’t he look splendid.

Parsley The Lion

It was a fun pattern till I got to the mane part and just couldn’t understand how to make it. Lots of you helped and so did many of the girls on Ravelry who had actually made this project… but I cheated in the end and just secured his locks directly to his head. Richard is so impressed and is acting like a child all over again.

I also received a couple of  honours this week. An award from the lifestyle blog called Pocketchange. They put my blog up as editors choice. Here is the link if you would like to have a look and don’t forget to have a look around their site too.

Also a huge thank you to Tag Tuesday for mentioning me within one of their articles. This site is where my mate Mo presents her fantastic tags.  Have a look and marvel at some of the imagination put into making some of the most amazing gift tags I have ever seen.

  1. Oh he is just too cute Helen, I must admit I’m not a knitted/crocheted animal/toy lover, it’s not my thing ….BUT……he’s sooooooooo cute, I love it, gorgeous job 🙂 And, well done you for the awards, you deserve them ❤ xx

      1. I started a lacy cardigan for myself but now realise it will be too small so I’ll give it to one of my daughters when it’s finished. I’ll post a pic. Then I’ll do another one for myself, just glad I didn’t start it in my lovely cotton. Haven’t done anything on my hexagon bedspread since I came back from England, but that’s a long term thing really just to pick up whenever I feel like it. Got so many lovely things I want to do lol It’s getting hotter and hotter here so that means…as you know also from your time in Spain….soon it will be afternoons with shutters closed coz too hot to go out, therefore I will have more crocheting time lol..yippeeeee 😉

      2. Hi Jane, so good to hear from you. I cant wait to see your cardigan and all the other little goodies you’re going to be hooking along in the coolness of your little French hideaway .. stay cook and calm… Yipeee indeed.. heheheh xxxxx
